 |  Where to go for lunch? I just joined the FAA workforce and I am interested in what other controllers do for lunch now that there's no motorized vehicle usage for our 30 min break? It was even easier in the Marines when we could pop out for an hour or so haha!  Bring lunch every day? Walk to the airport cafe?

Here its mostly hour on hour off, sometimes longer breaks during winter, sometiimes 20 mins during the summer Generally food runs are here: Tim Hortons (Coffee) at least twice per shift. Food: Supper time: Vitos Pizza, which offers us the "ATC special" ($10 tax in for a large pizza unlimited toppings) Or Deluxe French fries (Fried clams, fish burgers, anything seafood deep fried) I get a lot of Quiznos myself to try and keep the fat out. Oh and on Saturday mornings it's the Farmers market run for Schnitzels |
