| Really it's not. It is the rapid exercise of common sense.

Now, I am not going to get into the what the Union has and hasn't done for/to FPL's, but for us academy students, we have gotten Per Diem and Night differential because of them.

ZID for me. Got a TOL. Doing the traditional (non-PEPC) route. I have EVERYTHING wrapped up. Can anyone point me to a thread where other individuals have gone the non-PEPC route? I am curious just how long I should be holding my breath. I am hoping that I can get in to the Feb 23rd class. I may be looking for a roommate, too! Good luck to all of you!

Going to FAT Tower. Tower guy with one previous rating in south korea. then came to the states and tried a new version of airspace command and control called A.D.A.M.( Air Defense Air Managment), stupid. Don't recommend it at all. Im previously active army and have a feeling im the youngest controller on this forum... BTW for the people who are blogging their experience with the whole process, I greatley appreciate you. You have definitly help myself ad many others. My PEPC is tomarrow and I'm not nervous about it at all thanks to all of you. Thank you, Whiskey Romeo (WR) |

If my eyes check out which is looking relatively grim, then I will be going to ZSE. I'm stoked but nervous as hell that I won't be able to see a 56 hidden beneath a 35 in a bunch of different shaded dots designed to make you see different numbers if your red-green vision isn't perfect. Man I hope the monitors aren't that complicated at my en-route facility! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Oh wait.. I've seen the monitors and they're neon writing on a black screen. |

i worked a terminal facility for a short time (year and a half) at yokota afb in tokyo, japan. i opted out of the air force when i got preggers and i have been home with the kiddos ever since. i'm taking my at-sat next friday and feeling pretty confident. i've been studying some great material i purchased at atc-sat.com so for those of you who have been out of the game for a while, i would definately recomend this training material. (keep in mind i haven't taken the test yet so i'll let you know). looking forward to getting back to work. love beechlover's philosophy....life is good, do what you love, love what you do!!! awesome
