If you're just getting hired with ATC, you got a LONG way to go to get to retirement. By then, there may not even be pilots !!!!!! Ok, shoot with the questions, Tony | |

| Hello everyone. I started my ATC carreer at FAR in 1983. Moved to MLI for six years, then back to MN in 1994 to be closer to family. Here I certified at MIC and STP, and spent 15 months at M98 (Minneapolis TRACON) where I was certified on departure control. I was an OJTI at FAR, MLI and MIC. No enroute experience. I retired from the FAA 1 June 2007. I was active in NATCA as a facility rep at MLI and MIC, and am a retired member. |

| Mountain Home AFB, ID MUO Traffic is moderate at best and airspace is small (who decided to put a restricted area directly off of both runways 10 miles away? seriously WTF) Thinking about going to the pilot side of things when my last 3 years is up |
