Special thanks to Carl and Brandon for getting me through my Instrument Rating today.

Under Part 141, my cost came in around $5,500.

Hey Rick,

Congratulations on passing your Instrument rating. I have heard numerous times that the Instrument & CFI are the most difficult checkrides.

You posted some really great info on the checkride page. I will be joining Accessible some time in March so I will keep that info in mind.

BTW are you a full time or part time student at Accessible?

Congrats! I know I am late on this, but I never put it together that you were the Ricki Rhodes from Jet careers. I haven't posted here in a while, but after you passed the checkride it all of the sudden dawned on me...

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner! I'm in a sandy place on the other side of the globe right now.

I am/was a part time student. Due to my full time job (USAF) and family, I only flew once or twice a week. Not the best route to take for a quick rating, but I wasn't in it for a quick rating. I still have a couple of years left on my military commitment.

When I return to the great US of A, I'm planning on continuing my Comm and CFI.
