Let the Talks BEGIN:
ok here's the scoop that I know of so far... November is out because of some big conventions (Comdex & International Aftermarket products) & the beginning of the holidays. Mid to end of October is out for doug & I because my sister will be due with her first child on Oct 30th (YEA!!! I'm gonna be an AUNT!

It seems to me that September and/or the beginning of October is going to be our best bet.

HERE along with the dates/times and amount people that will be attending.
I'm thinking that any conventions on a weekend with over 10,000 expected wipes out that weekend for a JCathon.
Doug and I will be planning on staying in the four corners area (Tropicana, Luxor, Excalibur, MGM, NYNY) like we did last year and if we plan soon enough, we may be able to get some good rates in that area. If available and if we have enough people attending, we may be able to get discounted room rates at a particular hotel (dunno which). however, they usually expect more than 100 rooms rented well in advance and of course, we would need to collect the funds before getting the rooms... but we have not yet decided upon doing that. I would like an idea of who all will be able to make Las Vegas initially.
With that being said - how does september/ begining of october look for everyone?
