Going into the AT-SAT with absolutely no knowledge of what would be on it, I thought that portion of the test was rather simple once you get the hang of it. The nice thing about it was that the aircraft respond instantly to any command you give them (i.e. turns to heading, climbs/descents, are instantaneous). Just have a plan in your head for what you want to do with them and be vigilant. It is kind of a PITA that the exit corridor is so small but at least you won't need to lead them in the turns and altitudes because the reaction time is so fast.
