Aerobats actually go into the high 20K range. If its in good condition more!
My 150 is IFR, it'll go through a cloud deck just like any other airplane, just takes longer going up through it. That just means more actual in the logbook
I wouldn't fly it in heavy IFR, but there are a lot of planes out there I wouldn't fly in heavy IFR.
