When I first upgraded to the lear my captain was 22 years old. Not even old enough for his ATP. Supposedly there is a provision that under 135 flying freight you can still be pic with the type rating but w\o your ATP. He was a very sharp stick. Good pilot. At the ripe old age of 23 he had 4000TT with 1100TPIC. Makes me feel old.
