Default Re: CRJ-900 Checkride passed!!

On my SIC check, I had to redo my NDB. I flew the approach just fine (full procedure), but after I got the runway in sight and took over visually, I wound up getting a GPWS warning at night so had to go around. Not a big deal, I got vectors back around for another approach and landed just fine. The GPWS starts going off if the VSI is > 1000ft per minute, and the normal rate of descent for my plane at max landing weight is about 800fpm for a 3-degree glidepath, so there's not much margin for error. Anyway, the check airman wrote it up as a "repeated maneuver" on my PC, which I'm not really sure why since I made the right call and went around; I didn't think that constituted an unsatisfactory or repeated maneuver, and there was no retraining involved or anything. But whatever, the end result was that I passed. Congrats to you!
