guys I have a question about that app (x07)

why is it -B? I don't see a VOR-A or anything, so shouldn't it be -A?

and also...

lets say we were coming in from 140 radial. (or 030) we are told, cleared for the full app.

i would fly direct to VOR, and I would do the course reversal at the hold, and fly outbound on that 104 radial. thing is, why can't you just hit the VOR, and fly the 104 outbound? do you HAVE to do the course reversal? it would save bunch of time if I could just track 104 outbound when I hit the VOR...
