I live in the galleria area and working on my PPL out of Weiser Airpark up 290. It's cheaper than Ansion, but the planes aren't in the best shape, not bad, just not what you'd see at Ansion, and I checked out Dutch Wings, but that operation looked shady to me. I can go into more detail if you want. Weiser isn't bad, but it would be a haul from Sugarland. The FBO at SGR got voted one of the best in the country last year I believe. But it's spring time here, which means if you're not IFR rated, you don't be doing much flying for a while. Last year it rained non-stop from May-July. Where are you moving from?
