Unexpected weather is a good reason to give a PIREP also. Obviously, your first priority is going to be to fly the airplane and get yourself on the ground safely, but if possible call up flight watch and let them know the conditions you are experiencing. It will be very helpfull to other pilots who will be flying in the area.
