Small Jets and turboprops have been around for decades now, you should not be shocked about the type of aircraft you will be flying on when one shows up at the gate.

Amen brother!
One of my pet peves as a ramper is when the pax on an arrival complain about how long it takes to get the gate checked bags back up.
"Well it fit in the other plane" Too bad. If You pack so much CRAP that it doesn't fit in a bin, you have to deal with the consequences. And if you honestly cared at all, you would look up what aircraft you'd be flying, and you would/should have looked up bin sizes.
