It's hard to say how long because he didn't do full time credits every semester. He could have had it done pretty fast if he had, but there were a few semesters he focused more on flying, and then a few he focused more on school. For our situation, online was easier (with jobs and kids), than going to the classroom. You have to be disciplined though, and make sure you set aside the time you need to do it and don't procrastinate to the last minute.
