So this was definitely a first.

We were up flying today and decided to go into KIMM (Immokalee) to get some fuel and stretch our legs. Anyone who has been into IMM knows that the crop dusters love to sneak under you when you're at pattern altitude and land where they want. Knowing that, you need to pay that extra attention and especially look below you.

Well, here we are on downwind turning base when I look out the window and I no jokes see something that looks like bigfoot. "It" was walking out of the tree line towards an opening. I'm thinking WTF!

We land and I'm trying to explain to my buddy what I just saw. He was telling me how I should probably keep that to myself because if the wrong person hears me say that than I'm gonna get a psych evaluation done on me. I was trying to convince him that I was serious.

I finally convince him that I saw something. We tied the plane down and started heading into the woods. We get into the woods and notice there was a group of younger kids doing something in a big group. They give us a funny look like what are you guys doing walking through the woods.

We keep walking and a few minutes later we see bigfoot chilling on a broken tree branch. We were both like HOLY _____ what is that! Right when we saw him he saw us. Immediately we hear him say "it's hot in here".

Turned out the group was a bunch of kids from some school and the dude in the bigfoot suit was a teacher and about to go play a joke on the kids.
He asked us what we were doing walking through the woods. We told him we saw him when we were flying over and wanted to get rich.

We all exchanged a few laughs than headed back towards the plane.

It was kinda one of those things that you needed to be there for so it might not seem as funny to you as it was to me.

On a side note... We were trying to figure out what a bunch of school kids were doing in Immokalee of all places?
