Thank God the CEO (at the time) told them that there was nothing else they could do except end the airline and start a new one. The Trinidad market is vital indeed, so not having an airline was out of the question.

CAL has yet to turn a profit. The Govt is giving them until the end of the year and of course they are saying that they are on track. So if you mean they are doing much better than BeeWee by losing "less" money, well i guess you're right...
LIAT I hope is making a profit, because a round trip ticket from Grenada to St. Maarten the other day was $500US. That's with a few stops and total flight time of about 2 :30 in a Dash8
