Why is it harder to move out of a level 12 facility Money, staffing and the like. When you are at a level 12 and want to go to a 9 or 10 you are going to take a large pay cut. According to some friends of mine, if you are in the "old" IE good pay band and want to move to a lower (sometimes even higher) facility, you are going under the "new" IE crappy pay band. Also the larger facilities have invested a HUGE amount of cash to train you how to work there. Somewhere in the vicinity of 1 to 1.5 million and they don't want to see that go to waste????????

Is a level 12 the highest??????? Actually ATL TRACON has been working what the FFA categorizes as a level 13 for almost 6+ years, 'course they won't pay us for it . Within the last year or so we have actually been working the equivalent of a level 14 with the staffing of a 10.
