I live in Ypsilanti and I have tried all of the avenues you are stating. Alas, I am waiting to my final offer to Sioux City, IA. Look at it as an adventure. It could be worse, you will only have to move to OH.

My plan is to work my ass off and check out quickly and then head to the warmer parts of the country for a while.
