If you're just going to "live in the books" at the hotel, then by all means, just leave your car. However, I liked being able to hang out alone when I needed to, get to the airport when I needed to, visit friends in the area when I wanted, find food where I wanted to. I totally didn't live "in the books". I trained hard, but got away when I wanted to. I don't do well without a car for more than 4 days or so.
I'd say if you can drive it in less than 7 hours, take the car. I drive a car that gets better than 35 MPG. I can do 1000 miles for not much more than $90! |
Nicee! , Let me guess Toyota?
