"Checking out quicker" is meant in the sense of transferring to another location. I'm sure a majority of us are here for the long haul but us 2007 applicants weren't offered a nationwide selection. We had to apply for each state that had an opening and the options were few and far between. So quite a few of us are going to less desirable locations thousands of miles from family just to get to the opportunity. "Checking out quicker," is regarding hopes of transferring closer to home at some time.
