Arrests without conviction won't cause problems with getting your licenses and should not be used by an employer to decide not to hire you. That doesn't mean it doesn't happen, but it's in the realm of questionable legality for an employer to do so.

But Midlife's advice is good -- sit down with an aviation career consultant or knowledgable lawyer regarding your specific situation.
