I'm against industry consolidation.
Having said that what is the value of a UAL/AAA merger? I see a UAL/CAL merger being better for UAL than AAA.
No offense to AAA, but they're more of large domestic carrier. They don't have much international traffic.
Continental, is huge in Latin america. United isn't. Likewise, Continental doesn't have a huge asian or european network, and United does.
So, I see those too airlines being a far better mesh than AAA.
But, what do I know...I'm only a former A.Net nerd!
