I'm like you. Alex Ovechkin was no more than 20 feet away from me for about half an hour and I had no clue who he was. None.
I have also met both of the Clintons. I met Bill Clinton at a campaign event when he was running for President and I met Hillary Clinton at her campaign headquarters. I just stuck my hand out and said hello.
The way I see it, they put their pants on one leg at a time just like anyone else.
I have a feeling, Amber, that you'd be the same way. Sure, you might admire them, and want to buy them a drink and shake their hand, but you're not going to turn into a stuttering mess.
That being said, I'd love to be able to say hello to Captain Haynes and it's great news that he's going to be in Vegas. Think you can drag him to karaoke night?
