Restarting Initial CFI Training Help
Hello out there. I posted a similar quesiton in the general topics forum and figured I come into this forum also to get some answers. Last September, I started training towards getting the initial CFI at KVUO. Around mid-November, I stopped my efforts due to a combination of my CFI leaving and my decision to focus on finishing up the semester at school.
Since mid-November, I've had zero hours of flying. Depending on our weather in the next week or two, I'm was planning on going up in the air again with a CFI to get comfortable again. After that, I was looking at starting again with my initial CFI training as I still have a strong desire in obtaining the CFI. When I stopped in November, I had completed both FOI and CFI writtens and had also completed all the required PVT maneuvers. Since the time I stopped, though, I have barely done any studying of the essential CFI materials I have in addition to have zero hours of flying. What I would like to ask, based on the situation provided, is what do you think the best course of action would be for me to take? I would appreciate any advice you fellow CFI's could provide.
