These may be repetitive questions I apologize if so, but I'd appreciate it for any response:

1. Does the cost, $61,895, include every expense while attending (Minus food of course)?

2. How far is housing from the school? If it's far, is there a shuttle (I wouldn't be able to drive so far to have my vehicle)?

3. "340 hours, of which 150 hours is multi-engine time." Is the 150 hour ME time actual flying time? Or does that include simulator use?

4. I notice you said in a previous post that "though we typically expect the aircraft to be back at the base each evening." Does this mean night flying is out of the question (On the SE/ME time building phases)?

5. During the various time building phases, are we paired with other students in the aircraft?

Financing questions:

1. I'd need to be financed of course and I see that you use SLM. My parents have given me the thumbs up to co-sign and even though they own a house I'm scared that I wouldn't be accepted. Are there other loan companies you partner with in case my fears are true of a denial of a loan through SLM (I've heard stories of them denying individuals that shouldn't be)?

2. If the SLM Loan went though successfully. How are the funds handled? Does SLM pay you directly on a disbursement schedule or do they send the full amount of the loan to me directly upon start date?

3. Is there a possibility that I could request a little more than the final costs for living expenses while I attend (I know they offer this to few schools, to my understanding).

Thank you and I look forward to any replies.

RDM:

Thanks for the post. To answer your questions:

1) Yes. Though it doesn't include a headset or logbook.
2) Housing is close, though the place that Loadmaster is staying is not the only place we utilize. If students don't have a car, we try to put them in the housing within a mile of the airport. We don't have a shuttle and we prefer students have a car for mobility sake, but we can help you out for the most part. If you are here in the summer time, a bike would work well.
3) 340 Hours, of which 50 are AATD and 100 Multi Engine hours in the aircraft (no safety pilot time!)
4) No, in fact, we encourage night time. Sometimes it just isn't feasible due to the following day's schedule to stay overnight at an out station.
5) No. It is all single pilot flying, though when you fly the Twin Comanche, you will have an instructor with you at all times for insurance purposes.

Financing:

1) We only utilize SLM loans. We had been working with Wachovia to secure loans through their company. However, now that Wachovia/TERI Loans are in financial trouble, Sallie Mae looks to be the only financing company available.
2) SLM pays the school in equal disbursements during your stay with us.
3) Yes.

Let me know if you have any other questions!
