If you have a boarding pass you can get through. I had my ID's fall off my shirt in airplane once, and I didn't realize it until I had exited security. I went to one of our ticket counters, they printed out a generic boarding pass for me, I got through security, went back the plane and there was my ID, on the floor of the cockpit.
Even if you forgot your wallet, odds are you will still have your passport and you should be able to use that and a boarding pass to get through security (unless your wallet is big enough to hold your passport).
