Even the lanyard is not invincible. This morning the wind was something 110/28GSomethingUnreasonable, and the lanyard was whipping around a bit. I guess at one point it went inverted. I was getting ready to climb aboard and noticed that the thing around my neck was empty. I'm not sure anyone is looking through the FBO windows at 1:30am, but if they were they got some serious entertainment as I scurried around the ramp collecting various official documents before they were gone for good. I think from here on out, I'm wearing a small safe around my neck. Maybe I'll start a new fashion trend a la big clocks.
