We went to do a LOC approach to Hammond and then a GPS to Slidell. I just kept falling behind, I had the situational awareness, but I felt I couldn't fly worth of damn. Well, I hope I'll get to have my better days, I got another lesson on wednesday and we'll see how it goes. I'm supposed to be preparing for the checkride, but I still feel I have to get my ducks in line before I do it.
We all have bad days like that during training. During my flight training, I can remember having days where it seemed like I just couldn't do anything right. It will get better. Try to relax, stay focused, and always try to be at least 3 steps ahead of the airplane.
