F model, especially the later ones with the square horizontal with the counterweights at each end...heavy, flies like a dog down low, even worse if you have a model with the additional capacity for the outboard tanks. However, get the bird to altitude, it handles quite nice. Even though it is the same airframe, it feels totally different that the E model. Then again, that is just splitting hairs... The F model will do you good for a multi trainer... stable, good single engine performance, and as mentioned earlier, it will teach you good critical engine procedures.
