Re: ATSAT Scores You can't really study. If you know how to read a dial, (like your gas guage or speedometer) you'll do fine with that. If you can do simple rate/distance problems in your head, you'll be fine there. (a plane travelling at 320 knots goes how far in 15 minutes?......80miles) Analogies are tougher, but those involve reading the directions, you shouldn't have too much of a problem though, the instructions are very clear. The scan portion is easy, but it would be in your best interest to practice typing on the keypad on your keyboard. You have to pump out 2 digit numbers at a high rate of speed.
I already gave advice to the box factory portion in another thread. Basically, to do well with the questions, constantly tell yourself details about what's going on in your head. ie. constantly assess the situation, so you won't be surprised when the questions come.
The scenario part is like a video game, and you will have some separation errors or crash a few planes. Don't worry, I don't think that portion is weighted very heavily.
Basically, the best way to prepare is to read the instructions carefully, pay attention during the practice problems, and get a good nights sleep. You will do fine. Good luck! |
