Dan the man! Gone but never forgotten!

LOL, and if Buzz was somehow, somehow a better aviator it's because he had to have been one of Dan's students!

That is the first I've heard about a turn around the tall ship; I had always assumed they were straight and level and possibly descending. Given that scenario the loss of control seems to make a lot more sense.

RIP, Dan.
