I posted a while back about Dan Neuman, he was part owner of our flight school and had more than 15,000 hours dual given. There was no way Dan did something wrong that caused that crash. Buzz lightyear himself was not a better airmen. Just recently, this was confirmed.
The cause of the accident was Dan had a catastophic heart failure during the flight. We know that the heart attack was the cause of him to lose control of the aircraft.
We know that they were at a low level, doing turns around a historic ship that was in the harbor. They're bank angle initially was a very modest one, yet we beleive, that when Dan suffered his heart attack, the plane was not being flown, thus increasing the angle of bank so steeply, that when the passengers knew what was going on, it was too late.
At least now there can be some peace, in that we knew all along, no way Dan could have caused this.
RIP Dan, the man, with the year round tan, Neuman!
