Re: A good watch? Personally I can't stand the NaviHawk. I think it's cheaply made, has a bunch of "features" that nobody really uses (really...a teeny-tiny E6B that you practically need a microscope to read is useful??), and is extremely difficult to read while flying in the environment I fly in. It's also damn near impossible to use at night or with nomex gloves on.
I wear an Omega X-33 to work, and it is by far the best flying watch that I've ever used. It's not sexy, and it doesn't scream "I'm a pilot!!" or garner any attention when you wear it out on the town, but it is a serious tool for use in the cockpit.
