Wow. It's been a while since I've posted anything in here. I had a break in training for about a month for personal reasons. Anyway, I'm back and I thought I'd bring this thread back from the dead with an update. I just got done with my FAA written, I didn't have time to really prepare for it as I normally would, but nevertheless I passed it and that's all that matters. I have few rides scheduled next week to prepare for a checkride and hopefully I can get on with the commercial training. There has been some positive movement at the flight school about VA. It looks like they finally might be able to be approved. That means I should get 60% of my money back soon. This money would really make it easier for me to keep going and it would shorten this already long enough time I'm taking to get everything done.
