Traditional or not...you have to work your tail off to get anywhere in this industry and believe me, people are not going to be hammering your door down to hire you just because you have minimums for an airline. They are exactly that: minimums. Instead of fighting with folks online, I would suggest a little more research and some of Seg's suggested reading: "Flying the Line (Vol. 1 and 2)" to begin with or even better, "Stick and Rudder." I am not so impressed by a guy with thousands of hours in his logbook as much as I am by someone who can express empathy and understand that the fragile state of our industry rests in the hands of those coming up through the ranks. Work hard and be proud of what you do.
