Default Re: 10 ft. take off roll?

The Chief Flying Instructor of the school where I learnt took off into a fierce Westerly. He was in a 7GCBC and took off in about 30 feet. This day was freakishly cold for this part of Australia - it snowed in places it had no right snowing. Most GA people grounded themselves.

He went straight up, more or less, then inched forward, backed off the throttle, and came straight down and landed where he started his takeoff roll. The mains touched down with a groundspeed of maybe 2-3 knots.

Superb.
