Fairly certain that those are Aviat Huskies. The rights for the Super Cub were bought by Aviat then they modified them for bush flying. The most noticeable difference are the tundra tires and flaps. They are also farking expensive.
When I flew a Maule M5-235 the take off and landing roll was around 300'. And yes, in Moultrie, GA at the Maule factory they take off in the hanger and are airborne before leaving it. The runway has grass growing in the cracks because it is not used much. Most use the ramp.
