. I hope they get some wider taxi-ways off of the runways too because i've seen a few times when then damn 747s come in and they only have certain taxi ways they can go down cuz of there massive wingspan
and cause problems.
Did you fly into O'hare the other day when the weather was crap. Ceilings were down to about 200-300 feet AGL, and visibility was VV003!!! Guy came into my work and said that they were stacking planes 5-6 high over about 6-7 different holding VOR designated areas trying to get them into the airport... thats just insane. I've seen on clear days I look directly down the runways where there landing that day and you can see 4-5 planes lined up on clear days... Hopefully these new runways and control tower will ease things up for O'hare inbound AND outbound.
