I think the red rock canyon would be a decent place to hike. There are a ton of trails in that area. Ice Box canyon looks kind of cool, but there might be snakes. I hate snakes... I wish there was somewhere to hike that had a view of the city. I've looked around a little bit but I can't seem to find any decent trails that would take us to a nice view.
