I am definatly up for a hike. I won't have a car in Vegas so I would hope I can bum a ride off of someone.
(Course I will chip in for gas or whatever...)
Anyway, when were you going to do a hike last year? I think the best time would be one of the mornings hopefully before the last day of the events so that we could get back to the hotel to shower before hopping on the plane back home.
There are some awesome canyons around Vegas, (so I hear, I have never been.) If they are wet, that generally means the trials might be muddy and mushy. I hate that... I might be up for something that has a higher gain in elevation. It all depends how far people want to go. If we have a big group, 3 miles might be all we want to do... and might take 2 or more hours. I will help however I can so just let me know. I will bring my pack to carry some supplies such as a med kit, survival gear and Face Paint! It will be fun.
