I've been in the Marine Corps for almost 4 years now and I'm coming up on reenlistment. I've been considering doing a lat move to ATC for a while now. Just got a few questions for any former Marine controllers here.
How do they handle shifts? I know most of the wing operates 24/7, what were your work hours like?
How are the working conditions for you guys while you're in garrison. I'm sure just about anything is better than the MLG but it seems like (from our side) that you guys have it a little cushier (no offense
).
This one is pretty specific but I'm hoping to get stationed at Futenma (Okinawa) when I finish school. Anyone worked there? Hows life for a controller here?
