I live in the Dallas area, and after my helicopter crashed in late July (I happened to have taken that day off), it made me stop and think "am I doing what I really want?" So off I go. P.S. My heart goes out to the Silver State Students and CFI's. This reminds me of another Fixed wing school in 2002-03 that did the same thing to it's students in Florida.
Welcome!

What kind of helicopter flying were you doing? Also, glad to hear you are going to do what's best for you even if that means a pay cut in return. Happiness is important. I want to wish you the best. Lots of great advice and people on the JC forum. Stay active and let us know how things go.

I'm a helo fan myself and I recently stopped helicopter training to go finish my FW ratings.
