Being a military pilot is a one shot thing, and I want to take it. The only other career I would like to do is ATC. If somehow I washout of flight school, will I still be able to go back into ATC, or am I screwed? Is there anyway I can go to OK City school training and not apply for a job? Can I just apply for jobs after the Navy saying, "hey, I was a student studying ATC at MTSU, but decided to go be a military pilot instead, can I come back?" I don't know if I would still be able to go into the academy my senior year if ATC was my backup career. | I'm not sure I 100% follow your question ... are you asking if you wash from flight school will it hurt your chances with the FAA ? That answer is no... not at all.
There are only two things I see that could hurt you ... you are older then 31 or you're dishonorably discharged.
