I would just accept a date from the first one offered and if something better comes along, call up the first and say (in much nicer wording) thanks, but no thanks. That way you have a backup, and won't burn any bridges down. Just my opinion and better than making it seem like you're making them wait for you and it'll keep your options open with a backup.
