I'm at Mesa. Please stay away. I'm surprised with all the stuff that's out there in forums that people still ask about Mesa. There is nobody that has any aspirations of moving on from here that is happy with the company, the only ones are the lifers in PHX, most because they can't find jobs anywhere else. Mesa truly hires the lowest of the low, most of the pilot group is unhappy as soon as we hit 10k we start bitching about everything and life in general. It's a horrible company turns the employees into miserable human beings. I already have a class date with a better operation and am moving on from this hell hole, there's always talk about burning down the house but at the end of the day most of the pilot group doesn't care about bettering the company it's every man for themselves. I was truly happier throughing boxes at UPS then I ever was at working of Mesa. We lost about 400 pilots just in the last 6 months, think about that.

By the way assuming you get through the interview wichis nothing more than a pulse and personality check, training is the worst in the industry they have no instuctors they use AE and Skywest materials, they don't teach and best of all you will spend about 3-5 months from start to actually flying a plane because of the screwed up training department and about 250 pilots waiting for training. If you have the mins for Mesa 500 hours, then you can go some place else. Even living in base won't matter much at Mesa. It's till 8 days off with 16 hour duty days. Good luck
