One of the cognitive tests at Southernjets is set up to have you fail it repeatedly. You are graded on how fast you recover from the failure. At least they did when I interviewed. We all make mistakes and screw the pooch. The consumate professional puts the failure behind them and moves on, while learning the lesson of the failure. For what it's worth, I failed my first type ride at ASA and that was three types ago. If the subject comes up in an interview, just tell them why you busted, what you learned from it and how you used it to improve yourself.
