I am just working on my instrument written with the King course. I think it is worth it. Not sure how much it helps with the practical aspect but you will pass the test. I used them for my ppl and was underprepared yet still got a score in the 90's. I considered doing a weekend ground school for about the same price but I figured having the DVD's to refer back to would be better. I have referred back to my ppl DVD's a couple of times. JOE
