Believe me, if it was just me I wouldn't. But 99.9% of the time I'm flying with a student in someone else's airplane. My problem is aircraft rental rates either have to continue to go up, or I have to figure out some way to encourage students to take an extra few ticks on the hobbs to fill up at a nearby airport.
Basically my question is should I appeal to the FBOs themselves in hopes of at least getting a flight school discount, the airport management, the Austin City Council, or someone else to lobby to improve this situation?
