Once I went to Las Vegas for the weekend and my buddy told me about and showed me these b737-200's that you can ride to Area 51 for the day. The catch is that the windows supposedly are blacked out so you can't see outside and on the trip there the pilot takes several turns to disorientate you. Also since the size of the airplane you have to go through TSA screening where they take GPS and compasses away from you for the trip. It all had to so with base security and things like that. Anyways when you get there you get a short tour and never to the good parts. Then back to Vegas.
It seemed like a waste of money to me. I guess that changed if they are allowing regular GA to fly there now.
