I didn't say it was good to pay pilots less, I said it would be unfortunate, re-read the post. I also said in theory, the airlines can offer more flights if they have more pilots, they can fill more seats and make more money and that would be good for the industry and the pilots. The operative words here being "in theory", reality is something totally different. I also said that many of the folks running these airlines pillage the companies and bolt just before the ship sinks and leave the employee's behind to clean up the mess, if there's anything left to be cleaned up.
